I am the Assistant Head of School and Head of Arabic and Islamic. I have previously worked in multiple international schools in Dubai, prior to which I worked as a teacher in Egypt.

I graduated from Al Monofiya University in Egypt with a B.A degree in Arabic Literature.

I have designed a curriculum for Years 1 to 8 which has been well received and I am now looking forward to designing a curriculum for Arabic as an additional language for the pupils of Durham School Dubai. I keep my students engaged and try to provide them with the right tools to support their learning while encouraging them to be independent where possible. I like to raise awareness about the culture of the UAE by planning and participating in national and religious celebrations in the school.
