I am from Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands, England. I graduated from the University of Warwick with an Early Years specialism (birth to 8 years) then completed both my PGCE and Masters degree at the University of Birmingham.

I have been teaching for nearly 14 years in a wide variety of roles ranging from class teacher to assistant head teacher in different primary schools, in Birmingham and Walsall.

I have had the privilege of working with teams creating new programs of work and writing curriculums for the infant and junior sector alike however, my true passion lies with teaching the infant years and in particular teaching early reading and writing.

I am excited to be embarking on a new journey teaching at Durham School Dubai
